How to become a tax lawyer?

To qualify for this position, you must hold a five-year degree and obtain the CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Profession of Solicitor). After completing your baccalaureate, there are several courses available in finance or law, both at universities and business schools.

Work-study programmes facilitate professional integration, and proficiency in English is highly valued by recruiters.

In France, the salary of a junior tax lawyer is generally between €45,000 and €55,000 gross per year. At the start of their career, they earn between €3,750 and €4,580 gross per month, or between €2,900 and €3,600 net per month.
Additional remuneration may also be added to this salary, including performance bonuses and a 13th month’s salary, with an average total amount of €5,000 per year.
