To qualify for this position, you must hold a five-year degree and obtain the CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Profession of Solicitor). After completing your baccalaureate, there are several courses available in finance or law, both at universities and business schools.
Work-study programmes facilitate professional integration, and proficiency in English is highly valued by recruiters.
Start with a three-year degree
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance at ISC Paris
- Bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
It is also possible to pursue a diploma in corporate legal advice (DJCE).
Continue with a five-year degree programme
- Master’s in Finance

Take the CRFPA entrance exam
To obtain the title of solicitor, it is mandatory to complete your studies by passing the CRFPA exam, the Regional Centre for Professional Training of Solicitors.
This gives access to 18 months of training, at the end of which the student obtains the CAPA, which allows them to hold the title of tax solicitor.
