What does an HR Business Partner do?

Having an HR strategy is all well and good, but you still need to put it into practice! That’s where the HR business partner—or HRBP for short—comes in.

What is their role?

To implement the company’s HR strategy by supporting managers with all the issues they face on a daily basis: recruitment, training, career management, team development and remuneration.

Their objective?

To align the HR strategy with the company’s business strategy. Once the HR policy has been implemented, it must support, or even accelerate, the achievement of business objectives.

The HR business partner is one of the most operational HR roles. They are the managers’ key point of contact, making them the HR liaison between them and senior management.

Master’s degree programmes

Students can then complete their studies with a Master’s degree in Human Resources.

It is also possible to opt for a Master of Science (MSc), such as the MSc in Human Resources Management and Organisational Transformation. This programme stands out for its managerial and leadership-focused approach, which prepares students to take on responsibilities within large corporations.
