The position of strategic planner is accessible with a five-year degree. Experience is highly valued by employers, and it is advisable to pursue a work-study programme to ensure optimal professional integration.
- Start with a two- or three-year degree
After completing secondary school, students can enrol in a BTS (advanced vocational training certificate) in Communication or a BTS in Commerce and Sales. Students can also choose to pursue a bachelor’s degree for a more comprehensive education.
Several options are available, from a degree in humanities and social sciences to a bachelor’s degree in communication or a specialized bachelor’s degree such as the Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Digital Communication at ISC Paris. The latter prepares students for a career as a strategic planner with an academically recognized action-learning approach.
- Continue with a five-year degree
Holders of a two- or three-year degree can choose to enrol in a business school or engineering school to specialize. Several programmes provide access to employment, including the Master’s in Marketing and Digital Communication.
MSc (Master of Science) degrees are also valued by recruiters for their practical and international dimension, often bilingual:
- MSc International Marketing (100% in English), ideal for career development in France and abroad;
- MSc Responsible Marketing and Communication, rooted in current market issues.
