What does a Business Analyst do?
Business analysts are experts in business analysis. Their main objective is to define and recommend the best possible solution to meet a specific business need. This solution may relate to governance, business operations or information systems.
They are similar to functional project managers, acting as a link between project owners and project managers, i.e. between IT departments and operational departments.
