What does a Content Manager do?

As the name suggests, a content manager manages a brand’s digital content across all communication channels: social media, websites, blogs and newsletters.

Also known as a brand content manager or web editor, they are responsible for a company’s editorial line, from the quality of published content to its multi-channel distribution. The main tasks of a Content Manager

1)Writing and communication skills: content managers know how to optimize both the substance and style of each piece of content. 

In terms of style, they have a command of spelling, grammar and vocabulary, with a fluid and structured writing style. In terms of content, they apply copywriting techniques to write compelling texts and use psychological levers to capture readers’ attention.

2) Comfortable with digital tools: one of their fundamental skills is mastery of digital tools. The salary of a junior content manager (1 to 3 years’ experience) ranges from €30,000 to €38,000 gross per annum, or between €2,500 and €3,200 gross per month. In addition, there is supplementary remuneration of around €2,000 per annum (bonuses, commissions, etc.).
