It is possible to enter this profession after completing a two- or three-year degree in marketing or communications at a business school, engineering school or university.
However, recruiters favour candidates with a five-year degree and solid multidisciplinary skills. Fluency in English is also valued in the job market.
It should be noted that it is rare to be hired directly as a digital marketing manager upon graduation. Initial experience in the field is generally required. This is why it is common to start in a position such as community manager, marketing assistant or digital project manager.
