What does a Marketing Manager do?
The job of a marketing manager is to increase a company’s turnover by implementing appropriate marketing and communication strategies.
But while we tend to think that marketing managers are only responsible for promotional campaigns, their role encompasses a much deeper aspect:
- Conducting marketing research to understand consumer purchasing behaviour;
- Defining the company’s offering to meet demand, i.e. choosing the right format, message, launch period, etc.
- Designing and launching promotional campaigns;
- Monitoring results;
- Coordinating the various stakeholders to ensure that the commercial objectives are met.
Marketing managers may also have other titles, such as ‘marketing group leader’ and ‘marketing manager’.
